My kid likes to to hold tethers with two hands and go to town but there isn't enough surface area for her to do that. She ends up holding it with one hand and not having enough stability to bite on it hard enough, so it gets dropped and just hangs. The metal clip has jagged points at the back of the closure. A plastic clasp would have been a much better plan. But I was super disappointed when I inspected the ears; the black part on the right ear was already slightly detached and a small chunk came off when I poked at it. How is this supposed to stand up to chewing?? The different colors of silicon aren't properly adhered and if I had given it to my baby without checking it first, he would have had little chunks of silicone in his mouth. Not pleased... and I had really fallen in love with this from the photos, and it has pretty good reviews. Maybe I just got a fluke bad one?
